① Fully human antibody synthetic library
- The libraries have been constructed by mimicking human nature of variable region of heavy chain and light chain to minimize immunogenicity issues.
- Amino acids have been strategically arranged to enhance solubility and stability, based on expertise of our company on antibodies.
- Phage and Bacteria libraries are displaying over 10 billion kinds of antibody with high solubility and stability, enabling application of various antibody discovery techniques.
② Human naïve antibody library
- Fully human naïve antibody display library has been constructed by inserting variable region of antibody, amplified from human-derived cDNA, into phagemid, resulting minimization of immunogenicity issues.
- This library could be an alternative for antibody discovery that is not feasible for synthetic library.

- Directed-evolution, won Nobel prize in chemistry 2018, is a kind of protein engineering technology, conducting a basic principle of evolution, composed of random mutation and natural selection, in vitro to grant desired function or regulate functional level of protein.
- We have developed an antibody engineering platform with improved chance to discover antibody having a desired function by upgrading directed-evolution technology.

IMBolutionActual results

- IMBolution is a discovery platform technology of antibody having a designed function via constructing phage or bacteria display sub-library based on the wet data, such as structure of antigen and antibody, characteristic analysis results of antibody, etc., and the know-how, as well as screening of the library with proper method for desired properties.
- This technology is enabling manipulation of affinity, improvement of selectivity, grant of pH selectivity, regulation of agonism, improvement of stability, etc., which could be applied to develop antibody drug.
